Founders' Day 2027: planning begins

On 25 March 1845 the Church Missionary Society opened the school that became the Sierra Leone Grammar School. Each year on that date, Old Boys, staff and pupils gather to give thanks and to renew the bond between generations.

Getting involved

Each set is invited to send a representative to the planning committee. Chapters abroad are encouraged to hold their own Founders’ Day gatherings and to share photographs with the Union.

Full details, including the programme and venue, will be published on the Events page as they are confirmed.
