School Hall renovated and back at the heart of school life
Renovation works on the existing School Hall at Murray Town have been completed, giving pupils, staff and Old Boys a renewed space for assemblies, examinations and celebrations.
The School Hall at Murray Town has been renovated, and once again stands ready for the full life of the school.
For generations of Regentonians, the Hall is where the school comes together: morning assembly, examinations, speech and prize days, concerts, debates and the gatherings that mark Founders’ Day. Years of constant use had taken their toll, and the renovation has given the building a new lease of life.
A space worthy of the school
A well-kept hall says something to every boy who walks into it — that his school, and his education, matter. The renewed Hall gives pupils and staff a dignified, safe and comfortable space, and gives Old Boys a fitting place to gather when they come home.
Thank you
The Union thanks every Old Boy, set, chapter and friend of the school who made this work possible, and the school’s leadership for their partnership throughout.
What comes next
With the Hall complete, the Improvement Committee turns to its biggest task yet: the renovation of the Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. The same spirit that renewed the Hall can transform the way science is taught at the school.
Photographs of the renovated Hall will be added to the photo gallery. If you have pictures from the works or the handover, please send them to us.
