Improvement Committee launches Laboratory Renovation Appeal
The Improvement Committee has launched its appeal to renovate the school's Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories — the Union's biggest project in a generation.
IllustrationPractical science is where many Regentonians first discovered the careers that took them into medicine, engineering and research. The Improvement Committee’s new appeal aims to make sure today’s boys have the same chance.
What the appeal will fund
The renovation covers all three laboratories: safe electrical wiring, gas and water to every bench, ventilation and a fume cupboard, new benches, and the core apparatus needed for practical physics, chemistry and biology — from meters and optics kits to a class set of microscopes.
How to help
Every gift counts, whatever its size — Le 4,500 buys a student microscope. Sets, houses and chapters are invited to adopt a single item, such as a fume cupboard or a bench, and see it through.
You can give in Leones by mobile money or Visa card, or buy a ticket for the Annual Dinner & Dance on 20 November, where all proceeds go to the laboratories.
